Privacy policy

Draft — not yet reviewed

Verio is built on one promise: nobody sees how you worked unless you decide they do. This page says exactly what we hold, why we hold it, and how you get it back or get rid of it.

Who is responsible

Verio is operated by [legal entity name], [registered address], Sweden, company number [number]. That entity is the data controller for everything described here. These details are placeholders until the operating entity is confirmed.

What we collect

Only what you type, plus what is needed to keep you signed in.

  • Your email address, so you can sign in. Sign-in is a one-time link; we never store a password.
  • Your name, what you do now, and where you are based — all optional except your name and location, and all typed by you.
  • The roles you are aiming at, and where you study or work.
  • A LinkedIn profile link, if you give us one. We store the link. We do not read your LinkedIn profile or import anything from it.
  • A CV, if you attach one. It is stored in a private bucket only your account can read.
  • How you heard about us, which we use to decide where to keep showing up.
  • Whether you agreed to the terms, and when, and whether you asked for email.

What we do not collect

  • No webcam, no microphone, no eye tracking, no emotion inference — not now, and not when simulations open.
  • No advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on this site.
  • Nothing from your LinkedIn profile beyond the link itself.

Simulations are not running yet

The simulation described elsewhere on this site is not open. Nothing about how you work is being recorded or measured today, and no result exists for anyone to see. When simulations do open, what gets recorded will be described here before you can start one, and you will be asked again.

Who can see your profile

Right now, only you. There is no employer-facing surface and no way for anyone else to reach your profile. Access is enforced in the database itself, row by row, keyed to your account — not by a check in the app that could be bypassed.

If an employer surface is built later, sharing will be a decision you make one recipient at a time, and it will be revocable.

Where it is stored

In Supabase's Stockholm region (eu-north-1), inside the EU. Supabase acts as our processor. Email is sent through Supabase's mail infrastructure so we can deliver your sign-in link.

How long we keep it

Your profile is kept while your account exists. Delete your account and the profile row and any CV go with it. Retention periods for anything else are [to be confirmed as part of the legal review].

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how it is used, object to its use, or take it elsewhere. Email us and we will do it — we do not require a form or a reason.

You can also complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish data protection authority.

Cookies

Only the cookies that keep you signed in. They are strictly necessary, which is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing here to consent to or refuse. We set no analytics or advertising cookies.

Questions about any of this go to privacy@verio.example. We answer data requests within 30 days.
